So far, 2014 has been an exciting year for We Talk Chalk. We have already been involved in two projects, and are well on our way to a busy Spring.

Our first project was an eye-popping 3D street painting created for Butterfield Color. The painting was located in their spectacular custom Booth for the “World of Concrete” Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. Within the booth, the piece was accompanied by Butterfield Color’s concrete flooring designs; along with benches, dividers, and a cozy fire pit, all created in concrete.

The painting was created in three days by Lynn Okimura and I. We had a great time with the Butterfield team.

Our second project was for Jacobsen Lawnmowers at the GIS convention in Orlando, FL. The Image was a life-sized riding mower than you could pose on, propped up against a background of rolling grass, and giant golf tees. All together the painting measured a whopping 15×50 feet.

The image was imagined and painted in our studio, and our amazing studio artists, Lynn and Ever, traveled to Orlando to complete the painting on-site before the start of the convention.

A new development in 2014 is that we have branched out our services with a new Mural division. With prolific Houston Muralist, Anat Ronen, at it’s core, we are very excited to be taking our skills in street painting to more vertical and Permanent surfaces. Anat is an incredible force and brings a new dimension to our services as a full scale visual solutions team. Check out Anat’s amazing creations…

And last but not least, we expanded our studio team with the addition of two assistants, Caroline and Rick. We are very excited by their potential and seeing their creative spirits blossom in our environment.
We wish them a warm Welcome!
